The 20th Anniversary Coors Extra Gold car meticulously replicates the top fuel dragster driven by legendary NHRA champion Darrell Gwynn. He drove the original to three NHRA elapsed time records, including a 4.909 run at Houston Raceway Park on March 2, 1990, and it propelled Gwynn to victory at the 1989 U.S. Nationals and 1990 Gatornationals, among other races. That Gatornationals victory was just one month before the accident that ended his storied competitive career. Rebuilt on an actual dragster frame, the 300″ wheelbase show car sports the same paint scheme, 16″ Goodyear tires, and includes Gwynn’s original fire suit, shoes, gloves and helmet.
